Platanos Mykani

The renowned family tavern-café "Platanos" is located in one of the most beautiful areas of Chasia, in the namesake area of Mykani, surrounded by lush, plane-tree-filled nature, just a short distance from Meteora, at the crossroads connecting Western Macedonia with Thessaly. Since 1981, our goal has been to offer unique, authentic flavors of Greek cuisine with dedication, professionalism, and respect for all our customers, satisfying even the most discerning palate. 

Here, we’ve combined tradition with quality to focus on high-standard, homemade meals. Local meats, fresh daily vegetables, and pure extra virgin olive oil are the cornerstone of our gastronomy, with our key secret being their source! We are open from early morning until late at night. Come for a delicious traditional Greek coffee brewed on hot coals or any other coffee you desire. You can also relax with a local tsipouro accompanied by a selection of appetizer mezes.

When your appetite is ready, we offer high-quality meats, where slow cooking and passion create the "perfect dish." Enjoy a variety of mouthwatering, well-grilled meats, with our signature dish being the "KEBAP," or kontosouvli as many know it—pork, lamb, or chicken.
